Kearra joined ESa in 2012, having worked for an architectural design firm in Dallas, TX, for several years prior. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of Kentucky (summa cum laude) in 2006. Kearra has primarily worked on higher education projects, but her portfolio also includes secondary education, healthcare and corporate office projects for new and expanded/renovated facilities.
Kearra’s interior design responsibilities—which include designing interior architectural elements; space planning; finish, fabric and furniture selection; working on elevations and construction details; creating furniture, art and accessories packages; and participating in the final installation—span the life of project. Kearra also coordinates with clients to understand user needs and expectations and to present design ideas throughout the design process. A member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Kearra believes that design “should support the function of the user, while enhancing the experience of the environment.”
Kearra enjoys working at ESa because “the company, as a whole, and each individual employee truly cares about our projects, clients and the service we provide. We also care about each other.” When not in the office, Kearra enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, and reading. She is originally from Louisville, KY and has called Nashville home for three years.
