ESa is helping to consolidate Health Sciences programs currently located in four different campus buildings into one new Health Sciences Building at Moravian College. Providing programming, architecture and interior design services, we are creating a new campus gateway that will house the Nursing Department and space for the students and faculty of undergraduate programs in Health Sciences. Planned academic spaces will include simulation and skills labs, classroom and auditorium spaces for the nursing program, in addition to general lab spaces for chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology. Research labs and a health informatics computer lab are also provided.

To blend with the existing campus, the building references the campus’ Dutch architectural influence and utilizes local stone. A three-story tower proudly displays the college’s Moravian Star symbol, and will serve as an important campus wayfinding element. A west-facing, three-story atrium will open towards a planned campus greenspace.
