With over 10 year of professional design experience, Brandon is a Project Manager who joined ESa in 2015. Brandon’s portfolio includes performing arts, educational, commercial and civic/community projects throughout the Nashville area. He has been involved with many projects that have helped define his community—museums, schools, mixed-used developments and other civic landmarks. Since joining ESa, he has provided design and/or project management services for Alive Hospice, the Giles County Cultural Arts Center and master planning efforts for Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy.
Brandon is adept at listening to clients, helping them articulate project needs and then producing an authentic design that is reflective of their identity. Clients have expressed how committed Brandon is to sharing their project vision and also advocating to maintain it. Brandon believes that good design is an “adaptive response to clients’ needs and the surrounding context” that relies on a “creative design process, honest materiality and structural expression.”
Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Brandon earned his Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida in 2003, graduating as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. When not in the office, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife (Ferne) and three kids, especially enjoying outdoor activities and renovating their mid-century home. Brandon and Ferne enjoy taking advantage of the great live music opportunities in Nashville (when they can), and are involved in community improvement efforts and serving in their faith community in the Goodlettsville area.
