David is a Senior Project Manager with over 25 years of professional experience on a wide variety of project types—corporate office, hospitality, education and community facilities. David joined ESa in 1998 and specializes in complex office and education projects. Most recently, he provided project architectural and construction administration services for the Gulch Crossing office building in Nashville, which is the new corporate headquarters for ESa. David earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 1989.

Prior to joining ESa, David worked for various architectural firms on multiple large corporate headquarters, small-scale commercial, educational and community-focused projects. David is interested in all aspects of three dimensional design, and the opportunity to improve the quality of architectural design in his community is what inspires him to come to work each day. Throughout his career, David’s team-oriented approach and strong attention to detail has allowed him to develop excellent working relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. He believes excellent client service is demonstrated by listening closely and responding quickly to meet clients’ needs and resolve project-related issues.

David is a member of the national, state and local AIA and is a volunteer with Friends of Warner Park in Nashville. When not in the office, David likes mountain/road biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. He also enjoys painting with acrylics and completing woodworking projects around the house. Originally from Knoxville, TN, David has called Nashville home of over 20 years.
