Misty is a principal and also serves as ESa’s in-house clinical operations/design specialist. She is a registered nurse with experience in clinical nursing, healthcare administration and facilities planning. She works with clients and the design team in the early phases of projects to infuse clinical knowledge and evidence-based design concepts into the design process. She also offers in-house consulting on clinical operations and design challenges for healthcare, senior living and educational projects. Misty is an accomplished speaker and published author on healthcare and health sciences planning, the arts and architecture and other design-related topics. Within ESa, she leads design research efforts. Misty is passionate about her role in creating functional, human-centered environments that support lean operations, health and wellness and incorporate the arts. She believes that excellent client service is achieved with responsiveness, honesty and clear communication.
