The new Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care—providing state of the art radiation therapy, chemotherapy, clinical research, and support services—is the first of its kind in the region.
In the chemotherapy area, 20 infusion spaces overlook an exterior healing garden surrounded by a stone wall. The nearby radiation oncology department includes a linear accelerator, HD radiation vault, and a CT simulator, the latest technologies in cancer treatment. HopeCircle, a free NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation program supporting patients and families of those diagnosed with illnesses like cancer, is located in the center. On-site clinical research offers patients the opportunity to participate in cancer research studies.
To bring this center to life, ESa provided comprehensive campus, facility, and site planning including building placements, parking, access, and identification of future growth areas. In addition to this facility, the complete NEA Baptist medical campus also encompasses the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, a new, 181-bed replacement acute care hospital; and the NEA Baptist Clinic, a 213,000 square foot multidisciplinary physician clinic.
