Springwoods Village is an interconnected, mixed-use community that balances nature, urbanism and diversity. The 23-acre master site plan was designed for phased development to ultimately support a 300-bed healthcare facility, 400,000 square feet of Medical Office Building space and two parking structures.
Phase I consists of an approximately 180,000 square foot emergency/observation, diagnostic imaging and ambulatory surgery center on the first and second floors. To allow for future campus density, approximately 100,000 square feet of core/shell medical office building (MOB) space is located on the third floor and above. Phase I is designed to be easily expanded during future phases, allowing for the ability to react to future healthcare strategies.
The building—composed of curtain wall, metal panels and Texas limestone—and landscape are integrated to blur the line between interior and exterior public spaces. The existing forest and Spring Creek ecosystems will be protected and preserved utilizing best practices in sustainable design and infrastructure. The site will include pedestrian trails and other park-like features to connect the facility to Springwoods Village and other amenities.
