The interior renovation of an existing, three-story senior living facility incorporates the updating of interior finishes and increases efficiencies. A portion of the assisted living space was reprogrammed to serve as a dedicated memory care unit.
Assisted living amenities located on the third floor were moved and redesigned on lower levels, while the space on the third floor now accommodates the new memory care unit, a central part of Brookdale’s “AL plus” Clare Bridge Crossings program. With a new serving kitchen, dining room, living room, activity room, spa tub room, independent activity and staff areas, the redesigned space serves as an independent memory care unit. Memory boxes and accent colors cue residents for wayfinding while enhancing comfort and safety.
Interiors throughout reflect the coastal environment of Sarasota and pay homage to Florida’s natural treasures. Featuring light colors; lime-washed interior brick; artwork; and local photography, a revitalized interior welcomes guests, residents and staff. High levels of LED and natural lighting are provided throughout the facility to offer a cheerful and engaging atmosphere for residents and staff.
