The design of this 19-story building with integrated parking takes elements and materials from its industrial Memphis context and reapplies them through a contemporary lens. Housing nine levels of office space atop ten levels of garage parking, the tower incorporates exposed structural concrete columns at various levels that speak to the building’s industrial aesthetic while reducing the scale of the parking structure. Exterior perforated metal panel and glass elements are balanced by wood accents in the tower, on the lush 11th floor rooftop amenity deck and on the 19th floor executive amenity deck.
At the pedestrian level, masonry is used to anchor the building by framing retail storefronts. The main entry corner creates a node by bringing elements of the office tower down to the streetscape. The glowing curtain wall jewel box lobby is a beacon that creates a sense of celebratory arrival for employees and guests. Visible from the 11th floor amenity deck, a large pedestrian plaza with trees and walking trails further integrates the building into the surrounding community.
