Housing a new, dedicated campus welcome and admissions center for prospective students and visitors, this six-story building also serves as the home for the Belmont Innovation Lab and the Data Collaborative, in addition to containing faculty offices and computer science classrooms.

Situated on top of an existing, subterranean parking garage, the facility reflects the established campus context and completes the main campus quad, while its vertically creates a new monumental viewing point of the surrounding campus. Open spaces throughout encourage a collaborative work environment that is non-traditional and accommodating to crossdiscipline interaction. Lobby spaces are large and inviting, incorporating a cafe that is open to both students and the surrounding community.

Designed as a highly-cooperative learning and co-working environment, this space will house classrooms, mixed-use areas for study/instruction and feature the latest technology for use in the college of business and the incubator inspired data collaborative space. The facility will also include the Bruin Store, a campus spirit store, along with retail space to be occupied by student led entrepreneurial initiatives.

When completed, it will stand as the tallest academic building on the campus’ Eastern side, creating a signature welcome area for admissions and housing innovative new academic programs emblematic of Belmont’s continued growth.
