With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Elizabeth is a healthcare Senior Project Manager who joined ESa in 1991. A native Nashvillian, she earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee in 1987. Elizabeth is responsible for helping to bring the design vision of our healthcare design managers and firm partners to reality. As part of this process, she is involved in client user group meetings and works with ESa staff, consultants, contractors and state and local officials to produce construction documents for new hospitals and healthcare addition/renovation projects.
An EDAC Accredited Individual and active member of the AIA, Elizabeth is typically involved with healthcare projects from the design through the construction phases. She believes excellent client service “involves building relationships, being responsive and listening in order to create environments that meet clients’ needs.” She is honored to lead teams in producing projects for facilities, ranging in size from 25 beds to over 200 beds, which will assist staff in fulfilling their mission to serve the community and provide more efficient treatment for patients.
Elizabeth works at ESa, in particular, because of the sense of comradery and shared passion. “Projects aren’t viewed as ‘my project,’ they are ‘ESa’s project.’ If one of our co-workers needs assistance, you don’t think twice about jumping in and helping.” When not in the office, Elizabeth enjoys watching University of Tennessee football, reading, taking trips to the beach and spending time with family—her husband (Walter), sons (Andrew and William), dogs (Lila and Mittens), her mother (Barbara) and sister (Kim.)
