Originally from Springfield, TN, Alana joined ESa in 2001, after earning her B.S. in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Martin. As a Senior Interior Designer, she provides experienced interior design services for clients and helps promote the creation of healing environments across the country. She has been involved with many major medically-related projects throughout all design phases—from the schematic phase to design development, pre-design services and construction documents, through the installation phase.

Alana’s responsibilities include space planning; finish and furniture, drapery and construction specifications; signage; proposal creation; and preliminary pricing package development. She also performs site visits, conducts construction punches, attends project photo shoots and routinely coordinates with clients, contacts and consultants. Knowing that she works for “an architecture firm that designs buildings to meet the needs of our clients and to serve the communities in which we work” inspires Alana to come to work each day. An EDAC Accredited Individual, she strives to envision the “healthcare of the future,” while remaining committed to creating designs that help promote wellness, patient-centered care and operational efficiencies. Alana believes that “the hard work that we put into each and every project opens the door to the next opportunity.” When not at work, Alana raises a family, vacations with friends and family, loves snow skiing and attends sporting events.
