Tim joined ESa in 2012 and has 30 years of experience partnering with owners, contractors and other project team members in the architectural and design field. In his role as Construction Contract Administrator, he works to help verify that ESa’s construction documents are being correctly implemented in the field, and that the owner is receiving a safe and quality building. He is the primary source for communication during the construction administration phase of projects, facilitating responses related to all project issues —RFI’s, submittals, change orders, etc. Given the last thing an owner experiences is the construction phase of a project, Tim strives to help make sure that this process is successfully managed. Tim earned both his Bachelor of Architecture and his Bachelor of Art from Louisiana Tech University in 1986 and 1985, respectively.

Tim believes excellent building design “never loses sight of who, and what, it was designed for,” and he believes the most successful designs are those with which “people enjoy interacting.” Tim has worked on a diverse range of projects—healthcare, hospitality, educational, religious, office buildings, government buildings, historic renovations, gaming facilities and institutional facilities—and he considers his greatest professional accomplishment creating happy clients across that spectrum.

When not working or traveling for work, Tim loves taking hiking trips in the mountains and traveling to the beach with his wife and kids each year. He has volunteered with the PTA at his daughters’ schools for nearly two decades, and is also very passionate about helping to ensure that all kids across the State of Tennessee receive quality education. Tim has served on the State Board for Tennessee Congress of Parents & Teachers, Inc. for ten years, and on the organization’s Executive Board for eight years. He was honored to receive a Tennessee PTA Life Achievement Award and the National PTA Life Achievement Award.
