Designing for Community Health: Expansion shapes future of care at UK King’s Daughters

UK King’s Daughters Medical Center is featured on the March/April 2026 cover of Medical Construction & Design, showcasing the recently completed emergency department renovation and expansion in Ashland, Kentucky.

The feature article, authored by principal, Jim Bachert and senior design manager, Lauren Siler, explores how the project enhances capacity, improves patient flow, and supports the growing needs of the community.
