AdventHealth bringing ‘hospital of the future’ to Lake Nona community
We are thrilled to share our continued partnership with AdventHealth with the new state-of-the-art hospital that will offer leading-edge treatments to patients from Central Florida and around the globe is coming to Lake Nona.
AdventHealth has begun work on a 10-story hospital located at 10999 Narcoossee Road. The hospital is planned to open with 80 beds, with room to expand to 320. Services at the new hospital will include bariatrics, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and more. The hospital will also feature an incisionless surgical suite, with a focus on focused-energy treatments. These leading-edge techniques include using ultrasound to destroy tumors and to stop tremors in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
With a lake promenade, event lawn, amphitheater, and tie-in to the Lake Nona Trail, the 25-acre campus will align with Lake Nona’s focus on fostering wellness and community. The hospital will feature a warm and inviting design, with artistic touches in keeping with Lake Nona’s character. In addition to the hospital, there will be a medical office building and multiple buildings housing retail and dining options, making the campus an attraction even for residents who don’t need medical care.
The hospital is expected to open in 2026. ESa is the architect on the project, and Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor.
