Serving grades 6 through 12, this state-of-the-art athletic facility rivals that of some collegiate and professional sports teams, devoting 10,000 square feet to weight training with an indoor rubberized sprint track that bisects the space. Designed in two vertically connected phases, the facility not only allows training facilities for all major sports, but does so in a wellness manner that allow athletes and non-athletes to train side by side. Its placement adjacent to the stadium also creates a welcoming backdrop and gathering space for major school events.

Two gymnasiums serving as multi-purpose spaces are located on the second level. The first is set up as wrestling performance space and includes a spectator area and special HVAC for wrestling. This gym maximizes daylighting without glare, functioning as a practice gym for physical education. The second gym, designed with a sprung floor, is also used for practice space. It serves as a before-and-after-the-game event space, opening up to a balcony that overlooks the football field and contains a warm-up kitchen.

The school’s athletic department office suite, complete with a coaches’ war room, has direct access to the fields. The first level houses a training room for treatment and rehab, toning and cardio machine areas, and boys’ and girls’ locker rooms. On the second level, locker rooms for outdoor sports complete this comprehensive athletic facility for school-age athletes.
