Janet is a Senior Interior Designer who joined ESa in 1980, after earning her M.S. degree in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee and her B. A. degree in Interior Design from Bluffton University (Bluffton, OH). She has over 35 years of professional experience leading the interior design of corporate office, healthcare, education, senior living, library and hospitality projects. Her role includes systematic design development based on documentation and programming of operational procedures and space requirements, construction documents, furniture layouts and furniture and drapery bid packages for distribution to prospective bidders.
A member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Janet believes excellent client service is demonstrated when “clients come back for more…more projects, more interiors and more design services.” She has been recognized by the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) as the Southeastern Designer of the year, and is proud to have worked on numerous facilities on Belmont University’s campus in Nashville, TN. When not in the office, Janet volunteers with an inner city children’s ministry, gardens, explores the Smoky Mountains and enjoys wandering through antique malls.
