Bill Heath has 45 years of construction contract administration experience with various project types—including corporate office, medical and hospitality projects—in 36 states. The scope of his work includes new freestanding facilities, as well as additions and renovations to existing facilities. Bill’s responsibilities include coordination with various consultants, engineers and governing authorities, construction document preparation and value engineering.

For several years, Bill has been in charge of reviewing and updating standard details and specifications for the firm. He also routinely helps with detail questions on various projects and helps generate project details in Revit. His personal design philosophy is to “arrive at practical and economical building solutions while adhering to the designers’ intent.” He is a firm believer in the old ESa mantra, “The job is the boss.”

Prior to joining ESa in 1988, Bill studied at the University of Tennessee and gained experience with retail outlet and custom residential projects and construction administration. When not working, Bill’s favorite pastime is taking walks in the woods to enjoy nature. On a recent nighttime walk, he saw ten deer, two opossums, an owl and one pair of eyes he couldn’t identify.
